Lisa Sartor - "Chrome Frenchie"
Raised in Southern California, Lisa received a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from the California State University of Long Beach. Post graduation she continued training under established artists, both sculptors and painters. After she mastered life like sculptural art, photo-realistic graphite drawings and oil paintings, she expanded her studies into special effects prosthetics sculpting. Subsequent to building her own art, she trained in sculpting at several leading special effects studios, including Stan Winston’s Studio, creating body suits for films. She also created action figures for several leading toy companies where she worked on pieces for various leading films, including Star Wars, Where the Wild Things Are, How To Train Your Dragon, several Disney Characters and many more. Her work can be found in both public and private collections in the United States and abroad. She currently lives and shows her work in Los Angeles, California; Santa Fe, New Mexico and near Paris,France.
